Introduction With his more than 30 years of experience in government and the

private sector, David Frasher has been serving since March 2016 as the City Manager of the city of Hot Springs, located in central Arkansas. In the capacity of City Manager, David Frasher oversees the management of all of the departments within the city, including the department of Parks and Trails.

The main objective of the department of Parks and Trails is to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle for locals by providing a high-quality recreational and cultural environment. In this regard, the department envisions delivering affordable and easily accessible facilities and programs to its inhabitants and visitors.

Recently, the city received a sum of $4,000 for its general improvement fund from the Executive Director of the West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District. The assistance was specially provided to replace, repair, and make ADA accessible picnic tables at Baseball Trail Park, one of Hot Springs’ 17 parks.
