We kindly invite you to the dedicated course of Italian language and Italian Opera Culture that will take place in
Verona during Summer 2014
NESSUN DORMA 12 days course 2014
Italian language and Opera course completely dedicated to lovers of this wonderful “Art”.
In 12 days we will be able to follow Italian lessons combined with other meetings regarding the history,
terminology and the reading of opera librettos.
The programme includes:
- 2 tickets AMO Arena Museum Opera including the special section dedicated to Maria Callas
- 2 evenings at the Arena opera
- 3 conversations at the piano
- 1 cooking lesson plus wine tasting
- 1 guided excursion around Verona
- 1 trip to Vicenza to visit the Olimpico theatre
- 1 visit to Soave and to the winery “La Cappuccina”
- 1 visit to Ferrari Museum at Maranello
- 1 lunch in Modena plus visit to an ancient Acetaia and a vertical tasting of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar in
Castelvetro- Modena
Minimum number of participants: 6
We will be glad to welcome all those who are interested or… are not yet interested in the magic world of the
Italian Opera.
Idea Verona Study Centre will take you through “Italian” - such a fascinating language - and the way we Italians
are using it to perform Art, Music and Literature.
This course will dedicate time to the learning of the Italian
language, with a focus on the specific words dealing with
theatre, scenes and scenaries, librettos, history of
the Opera

in the medieval Palazzo Forti, which with its videos and historical finds will be an
important key to the course program
