Sources of FUNDS Every year, a brilliantly done calendar is taken out, plugged with photographs taken by professional photographers who join the Nepal trip from time to time.


Sources of FUNDS Over the year, children collect coins which are a big source of funding. These are then collected and taken to a bank to change for money that goes into the project.


Sources of FUNDS This year, this popular fund raising activity, a fund run will also be simultaneously be conducted in Nepal to raise funds and ownership in the local community.


Sources of FUNDS The Nepal Lauf is the top event in Freiberg and every September, the fund run attracts very many runners who run for almost 72 hours on a relay to raise funds.

Utilisation of Funds The construction of the Kindergarten building used local resources, and was made specifically to be earthquake proof. Nepal lies in a major fault line.


Utilisation of Funds The old kindergarten was really small and desperately needed change. A new kindergarten has been built now using local resources and is earthquake proof. This year, a sand pit was also dug up.


Utilisation of Funds The organic vegetable production is also a means by which livelihoods are improved in order to support education. This is one project which is still a challenge.


Utilisation of Funds Coffee nursery for livelihoods alleviation through cash crops. The production is done by a cooperative which plans to give a portion of profits to education.
