DAY 1 YANGON ARRIVAL

On arrival at Yangon International Airport, you are welcomed by our tour guide and transferred

to your hotel. After refreshment, you embark on a city tour including:

(1) China Town noted for its fruit market, delicious street foods and old world atmosphere.

(2) Downtown Yangon’s Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Independence monument and old colonial

buildings. (3) A visit to the magnificent and world famous Shwedagon Pagoda, known for its

religious significance and artistic beauty. Then a welcome dinner and overnight at the Hotel in

Yangon.

DAY 2 YANGON -BAGAN

You are transferred to Yangon Airport for an early morning flight to Yangon and on arrival

transferred to your hotel in Bagan. Afterwards you will begin a tour of Bagan”s highlights;

famous temples,such as:

Ananda Temple,1090AD,a master piece of early style of temple-architecture with four

huge standing Buddha Images

That-Byin-Nyu; a mid-12th century temple , 66 meters in height,towering above all other

monuments and presenting visitors with a magnificent panorama of Bagan plain

Shwe-Gu-Gyi; a temple built in 1131AD,standing on a high brick plinth, with arch-

pediments and decorated with fine stucco carvings

Gaw-Daw-Palin Templebuilt in the 12th Century with a fine view over the ruins of the

Bagan plains.

Enjoy a spectacular sunset from the Shwe San Daw Temple.Dinner with Culture

DAY 3 BAGAN

After breakfast,a full day of Bagan sightseeing awaits with famous temples such as:

Gu-Pyauk-Kyi(Wetkyi-Inn); a 13th century temple with a spire resembling that of the

Maha-Bodhi Temple at Buddha Gaya in India, known for its wall-painting that depict

scenes from the Jataka ( stories of the lives of Buddha).

Hti-lo-min-lo; built in 1211 AD and one of the largest temples ,noted for its fine plaster

carvings on the arch pediments and friezes.

Shwe-Zi-Gon; completed in 1084,noted for its glazed plaques depicting scenes from the

Jatakas.

Bu Phaya;standing at the edge of the AyeyawadyRiver, an ancient landmark for travellers

along the river. Having a bulbous shape resembling that of the gourd fruit,it is a favourite

spot for visitors to watch the sun-set over the Ayeyawaddy River. Dinner with puppet

show.And overnight at the Hotel in Bagan.

DAY 4 BAGAN -YANGON

In the morning you will be guided to the interesting local Nyaung Oo Market for a bit of local

colour and a chance to see and purchase local souvenirs such as cotton clothing or local fabrics.

Later on in the morning you will be transferred to Nyaung Oo Airport for your flight back to

Yangon and then taken to your hotel in Yangon. After refreshments, you start a tour of

Yangon city sights such as:

(1) Botahtaung Pagoda, a famous landmark pagoda beside Yangon River, with a walk-in internal

relic chamber.

(2) Chauk-htat-kyi Phaya; a huge life-like reclining Buddha statue surrounded by Buddhist

monasteries .

(3) Bogyoke Aung San Market (named after the father of Aung San Suu Kyi and formerly

known as the Scott Market) to purchase souvenirs and handicrafts if you wish. Evening, Farewell

Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
