A common walk in order to unify mankind in one heart, without formalities, without exclusions. It is time now for those who move “on foot”, for those anonymous and silent hearts: it is our time, and we can choose a Humanity in Peace and the Peace as the way for it. Will do 1, 2, 3 million walks, if necessary, to make this a reality.

Permanent Movement Universal Walk for Peace

There have also been a significant number of “Universal Walks for Peace” in several cities in other parts of the world promoted by a group of individuals who constitute what we have called “Permanent Movement”.

They are local calls, unified with St. James of Compostela, and held one Sunday per month and mainly attended by citizens from this area walking in unity and in correspondence with a continent.

Since October 2008 and through representatives of the Permanent Movement Universal Walk for Peace in each of the cities and, with the help of those responsible from Universal Walk Foundation to St. James of Compostela MUASC, walks have been promoted outside the St. James of Compostela region.

The first Universal Walk for Peace in Segovia, Spain was held in May 2012 and represented a milestone in the development of the movement. It was the first Walk held outside Galicia’s region. This year will be held the third edition on June 1, 2014.

Also in Lleida, on May 18, will be held the first Universal Walk for Peace by walking the five paths and finishing at La Seu Bella.

Our website, www.muasc.es, contains information on all walks taking place, expanding monthly with new calls.

Thus, walk becomes a personal and collective symbol of a deep change able to transform mankind.
