Impressions of theSpanish Team
1st Meeting took place at: Nicosia (CYPRUS)
November 30th to December 4th, 2009.

After long hours of journey, we finally got to Larnaka, where we had the feeling of being..
at home…
We were even amazed by the sight of a facility which looked like ours…
Once in Nicosia, we had the pleasure to meet the rest of partners and the Coordinator Mr
Kostas.
Virginia introduced our school and our city to the participants.
We went to Mount Troodos with Anthimos and Tony, and we enjoyed the trip.
We received a lecture about the history of Cyprus from ….a Monk¡¡¡ at Kikos Monastery.
This would be stunning in Spain.
We were shocked to see the border which divides the city into two right in the middle of
the town. We hope from the bottom of our hearts that this problem will be solved
successfully in the near Future.
Fortunately, they have an exceptional Archeological
Museum, which we liked so much…
We couldn’t leave Cyprus without visiting
And Pafos Archaeological sites, with its magnificent ruins.
On the way back home, we stopped in Athens, and of course, we visited the
Parthenon.
2nd Meeting took place at: Thessaloniki, (GREECE) February 3rd to February 7th, 2009.

The air sight of the Gulf of Thessalonica seemed wonderful to us.
As soon as they arrived, our students decided not to waste a minute...
A music band entertained us with Greek songs.
We had the chance to discover the beauty of an ancient town.
There was also time for work!
,,,and Paquita talked about irregular immigration in Spain.
We visited the Tombo of Fillipos and the old city of Veria.
Alexander the Great said goodbye to us, and we left promising to come back some day.
3rd meeting took place at: Bucharest (ROMANIA)
April 14th to April 18th, 2010.

Israel, Beatriz, Iliana and Andrea
The students presented an oral report about mass Media and Immigration in Spain
Israel presented the introduction.
Iliana went on.
And Beatriz finished the report.
As we walked across Bucharest, we found out that the town is in love with music. Might
Sergiu Celibidache be hidden behind his cello…?
We travelled back to the Middle Ages.
Impossible to eat all this!!!
Some very delightful music accompanied us while we were having dinner.
We also went to Carpathian Mountains, and Campaign manufacturing at Rhein Azuga…
… where lunch was excellent!
We were in a Peles Castle, which wasn’t Dracula’s Castle but anyway, it was so beautiful…
We also went to visit Parliament Palace
So big and amazing
We took a photo of the group.
The trip back home was put off because of the ashes of the vulcano in Iceland. We had some health problems, but fortunately the
Romanian Team, with Simona, was there to help us. We want to thank her in public for
her help!!
4th Meeting took place at: Naples (ITALY)
12th to 18th October, 2010.

We were seduced by the magnificency of the city.
The welcome dinner was exceptional!.
The working session was quite pleasant.
We don’t know yet why Dionisio was so much in a hurry…
The School Events at CTP “BORDIGA” were very interesting.
There was a big audience!
The young students played under the symbols of peace…
… although watched over by the Police.
We visited the impressing Lyric theatre “San Carlo”
Where we enjoyed some marvellous sights…
We took a photo of the group.
On the way back home, we also visited Rome and we saw the Vatican from the
distance...

And of course “the Colliseum”
¡¡OH…La bella Italia…the most beautiful country around the world!!
5 th Meeting took place at: Cadiz,(SPAIN) 16th‐20th February, 2011.

When we received the different partners in Cadiz in spite of being situated in the South of Spain, ¡We were surprised by the rain!
During the welcome dinner, some students gave a show of “Flamenco”
The teachers Eloisa and Natalia presented the interviews they had prepared with
immigrants at Prison “Puerto 3”
We visited the Old city”
We went to the Town Hall. Luckily the Mayoress wasn’t there,
so there was a brief meeting…
… but we were to see and visit her office…
…we could check that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz had been there too..
In Seville we visited Los Reales Alcazares
La Plaza de España and the Barrio de Santa Cruz
Finally, we went to the famous vine cellar called “OSBORNE”, the main Sherry wine
producers in the world.¡Incredible but nobody was drunk!
6th Meeting took place at Bydgoszcz (POLAND) 4th – 8th May 2011

We arrived in Warsaw
¡It was May and it was…SNOWING!
We took a train…
.. And we got to Bidgoszcz, we didn’t expect to find so much beauty…
We also went to Torun..
..to know the land of Copernicus
Paquita threw a coin to be able to return as soon as possible.
Our visit to amazing Ciechocinek
We were offered a wonderful dinner at KP CEN Bydgoszcz
We attended a great Gypsy Dance Exhibition by young students..
And Reception at City Council by Local authorities, Elzbieta and the Poland team
worked hard

We said goodbye with the image of the difficult balance between tradition and
modernity.
