• 16.5km total length – 11 km in tunnel (City centre to Ballymun

and Airport)– 5.5 km in retained cut, at-grade or

elevated

• 14 stops – 9 underground stops from St. Stephen’s

Green to Ballymun and at Airport– 5 surface stops

• Planning Permission Granted – 20 Conditions– Depot relocation application early 2011– Enabling Works can commence in June

Managing our Environment

• Noise and dust limits strictly controlled and monitored

• High quality, well maintained attractive hoarding

• Good lighting and signage will be provided

• Good housekeeping, plant and equipment cleaned and fully serviced, worksites kept tidy and dust free

• RPA and its contractor will work closely with local representatives throughout the construction period

RPA Commitments

RPA will:

• Have an ongoing role throughout the works• Ensure you are consulted and kept informed about the works• Arrange open forums with local representatives, local

businesses & residents• Run a 24/7 hotline for queries and complaints• Appoint Community Liaison Officers dedicated to specific

areas• Provide up to date information through meetings and other

communications channels
