India is a special country in the world and praised by millions of travelers for its beautiful

structures, natural panoramic view, adventurous activities and others. Today, I dedicate this article

to Manali one of the best places of India and popular for its outstanding beauty.

The romantic surrounding attracts travelers to Manali throughout the year. Indian people come

here for honeymoons and wonderful views, while foreigners visit to enjoy adventurous sports. Until

the 1960s there was not anything here except some old stone houses and temples, but modern

Manali is packed with luxurious hotels and the city is in severe need of some city planning-stay in

the villages of Vashisht or old Manali for a more peaceful mood. Here I have written below some

wonderful tourist spots of Manali which is just a paradise to see.

Rohtang Pass: It is a highest mountain pass on the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas around 51 Km

from Manali. It is an eye-catching place and popular for snowy view.

Altitude: 3,979 m

Road: Leh - Manali Highway

Solang Valley: It derives its name from combination of words Solang and Nullah. It is a side valley

at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh.

Hadimba Devi Temple: The temple is globally famous as Hadimba temple. The temple is dedicated

to Devi Hadimba who was wife of Bhima.

Great Himalayan National Park: This beautiful park is the latest addition to India’s national parks,

situated in Kullu region in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Pandoh Dam: This ancient Dam is a wall dam on the Beas River in Mandi district of Himachal

Pradesh, India. The dam was established in 1977 to generate hydroelectric power.

Bhrigu Lake: The lake is dotted in the east of Rohtang Pass and is around 6 Km from Gulaba village.

Altitude: 4,300 m

Manali Sanctuary: The Manali Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh in northern

India. The sanctuary starts about 2 km from Manali. It is the catchment of Manalsu khad.

Bijli Mahadev: Dedicated lord Shiva, Bijli Mahadev is one of the sacred and excellent temples in

India and also popular for its beautiful surroundings.

Altitude: 2,438 m

Pin Valley National Park: This beautiful park is located in Spiti region and packed with wonderful

flora and fauna. Don’t forget to bring your Camera as it has best picturesque view.

All these tourist spots are amazing and welcome you with its open arms. Though, from April to June

and September to late October you can observe as if all of humanity has assembled to Manali. There

is another rush in travelers for New Year and Christmas. Prices for accommodations can more than

triple at these times because of heavy rush of visitors. Vashisht and Old Manali remain close for

winter from about October to May.
