vibrant culture. A journey spanning over 8 days and 7 nights on board Maharajas’ Express offer

a dash of wildlife, forts, palaces, sand dunes and medieval temples of India. The elements that

Indian Splendor Journey Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: New Delhi

Arrive at Safdarjung Railway Station to board the train

An Indian style royal welcome is offered by the train staff following which you will

complete check in formalities.

Feed your taste buds with delectable cuisines while the train chug its way towards Agra.

Day 2: Agra

Early morning the train will arrive in Agra

Disembark the train and hit the road to explore the shimmering beauty of Taj Mahal

A Champanage breakfast atop Taj Khema overlooking Taj Mahal will form the crescendo

of the day

Later you have an option for shopping tour in Agra or sightseeing trip to Itmad-ud-Daulah

tomb and Fatehpur Sikri

Post lunch, set out of the train to explore Agra Fort

Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Sawai Madhopur- Jaipur

Enjoy a thrilling game safari in the morning and catch the glimpse of royal cats in their

turf.

Return to the train for lavish brunch and depart for Jaipur

On reaching Jaipur, take delight in shopping, guided sightseeing excursions and

Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Bikaner

Wake up to the rising sun in the desert kingdom of Bikaner

On reaching, set out on an optional tour of either Lalgarh Palace or Deshnok Temple or

cattle breeding farm

In the afternoon, explore the length and breadth of Junagarh fort.

Post lunch; partake in camel cart procession around the undulating sand dunes

In the evening, enjoy the folk performances by Kalbeliyas and Langaas over sundowner

cocktails and barbecue evenings.

Day 5: Jodhpur

Post dinner, return to the train for overnight stay

Day 6: Udaipur

Post breakfast; embark on a sightseeing tour of Dinosaur Fossil Park followed by village

tour

Lunch meeting with the royal family of Balasinor

Return to Maharajas’ Express for dinner and overnight stay

Day 8: Mumbai

On the 8th day, Maharajas’ Express will land you back at Safdarjung Railway Station

after 168 hours of royal chug

After breakfast, bid farewell to Maharajas’ Express and continue your onwards journey.
