The armistice meal (El desarme)

Once upon a time in Spain…

…there was a terrible civil war.

Brother fought brother.

Until one day…

… the soldiers decided to fight no more.

Now, one army had chick peas…

…and the other army had cod.

So the soldiers decided to cook together.

This is the origin of the armistice meal

(Always in October).

Now, we don’t fight any more; we just eat together

and have fun.

And everybody

lived happily

ever after.
