speak about the Suspension Bridge (el Puente Colgante) and the Salazar tower

Suspension Bridge Salazar towerThe building was constructed at the end of the 15th century. In 1934 the building suffered a fire, and between 1958 and 1959 it was reconstructed. It is a property of the Town hall, and shelters a museum that offers a permanent exhibition on Portugalete's history.

It is a bridge with wherry carrier that joins two margins laughs at the Nervión in Bizkaia (that joins Portugalete and las Arenas), and it was inaugurated in 1893. Bridge has 61 meters of height and 160 meters of length. It was the first bridge of this type constructed in the world and at present it is the only bridge of this type functioning. Because of it they named it a couple of years ago patrimony of the humanity.
