The students felt the need to protect the trees as there was extensive cutting of trees for various usages.

The catastrophe was so heavy that it was irresistible by our eco club members to react to such a situation .

The root cause was targeted. We may be intelligent enough , but as social animal we behave ignorantly thus playing an important role in assaulting the ECO-System by

cutting TREES.

The mentor interacted with the parents & students during assembly and told them the importance of trees and requested them to donate old clothes rather throwing them.

We were covering all our registers with old clothes which we had collected from near by houses. We stopped using papers in covering the registers , thus in a small way we were contributing to help our ECO-System.

I can rightly say that the efforts we put into inculcating values in children are proving fruitful. We will continue this chain of process as long as we can. I would encourage them to come up with more creative & innovative ideas.
