Modern and Spacious apartment
Póvoa de Varzim is a cosmopolitan summer resort (with its nightlife, casino, marina, festivals and
summer events), but also a nice place to relax during most of the year.
This fishing town offers a nice promenade along the sandy beach and many beachside cafés and
restaurants, from where you can admire a wonderful sunset.
There are several places of interest in the surrounding and the city is definitely a good base for day
trips in Costa Verde or North Portugal.
Póvoa de Varzim
Porto (World heritage town), Matosinhos (famous for its fish and seafood
restaurants) and Vila do Conde are easily reached by car or train/metro.
Estela Golf Course just 10km away.
Esposende and the Northern Coast Natural Park with its long and protected
beaches, dunes, windmills and pinewoods is 20km north.
Historic cities of Braga and Guimarães are 45-50km northwest, via motorways
A28/A11/A7 and Viana do Castelo is 45km North (A28).
The closest airport is Oporto (15 mins drive). The Spanish airports of Vigo
and Santiago de Compostela are 1,5 hours and 2,5 hours drive from Porto.
