An evening with Clara Nagai’s family at their home in Sapporo on Feb 11, 2008. Clara-san’s father, Yukio Nagai,

is the conductor of the choir for the Sapporo’s Kitara Concert Hall.

We need a translator to communicate, but the genius of Bach requires no translation...

After a wonderful dinner, Clara-san demonstrates her virtuosity for us. She had studied several years earlier at the London School of Music…

Clara-san’s mother is

also a concert pianist…
