Liverpool docks

There is an old factory on the right. It has been converted into flats for the upper places of the factory. At the bottom (I'm sorry that we can't see it from there), but the ground floor and the cellar have been converted into the Beatles Museum and into a Starbucks coffee.

Directly on the left, wee see the end of the Stadium.

On the left, there are factories reconverted into flats and on the right there are block of flats built during the last years.

This part of the docks, near the inner city, is a pretty and peaceful touristic area.

This picture is an other picture of the docks, but from an other point of view which is more turned to the estate.

There are high quality estate of the 1980s where life is quiet and pleasant.

Liverpool docks / Beginning of the new town center

These are the new blocks of flats built in the XXIth century. It shows us the urban regeneration of the town center of Liverpool. These buildings are at the entrance of the new town center,

The flats with many glasses has been finished during the year 2008/2009 because there were big posters in front of these flats with the selling price when I took the picture (it the blue & pink thing between the two towers).

I apologize for not having pictures of the new town center. This is one of the most important part of the regeneration of Liverpool.

There are high blocks of flats with new design. At the bottom, there are high quality shops from the bigger world shops firms such as Apple, Levi's, etc. .

The Inner City

 

The is inner city of Liverpool is not very attractive, but the history of the Beatles attracts people such as the Mathew Street where the Cavern is (the place where the Beatles became famous in Liverpool) .

Emigration in Liverpool : China Town

As there is immigration to Liverpool, a China town has been built at the outskirt of the city.

Derelict buildings in Liverpool

Old houses of the 1950s built on the edge of the city become derelict now.
