About Genoa historyThe origins of the ancient city of Genoa are until now obscure. The most famous is pesto, a sauce made with basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil and Parmesan. To accompany the meat is excellent, salsa verde, made with parsley and pine nuts, and walnut sauce goes well with pasta and ravioli.Cakes and pies are typically the prerogative of Genoa. They eat both meals and snacks as tasty from simple oil cake that filled with cheese, you can not resist the fragrance and aroma of this specialty. Nor can leave without having tasted the porridge, a unique cake made from chickpea flour.
