Malaysia
Malaysia is a centuries-old mixture of Malay, Chinese, Indian,
and British traditions. The kids can concurrently watch
incense waft up from the front of a Chinese temple, hear the
call to prayer from the mosque down the street, and smell the
inviting fragrance of Indian food from the cart on the corner.
It’s like visiting multiple countries all at one time.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the
People's Republic of China. It's a place with multiple
personalities as a result of being both Cantonese Chinese and
having been under British colonization. It is a unique
destination that has engrossed people and cultural influences
from places as diverse as Vietnam and Vancouver and proudly
proclaims itself to be Asia's World City.
China
China, is the world’s most populous country. Its vast
landscape encompasses grassland, desert, mountain
ranges, lakes, rivers. Beijing, the capital, mixes modern
architecture with historic sites including sprawling
Tiananmen Square. Shanghai is the largest city and, is a
skyscraper-studded global financial center.
Japan
Japan is a year-round destination with a beautiful,
different landscape. It is clean, safe and has one of the
most efficient public transportation systems that will
take visitors throughout the country via the shinkasen
or bullet trains. Japan is a blend of modern and old
world.
Laos
Laos is a Southeast Asian. Vientiane, the laid-back
capital, is the site of That Luang, a reliquary reportedly
housing the Buddha’s breastbone, plus the Patuxai war
memorial and Talat Sao, a shopping complex jammed
with food, clothes and craft stalls.
Singapore
Singapore is an island city-state off southern Malaysia, and
a global financial centre with a tropical climate and
multicultural population. The famous places in Singapore
are red-and-gold Buddha’s Tooth Relic Temple, Little India,
Arab Street is lined with fabric shops. Singapore is also
known for eclectic street fare.
