DAY 01: Addis/ADD
Be welcomed by your guide on arrival at Addis Ababa city tour of Addis Ababa. Of In Addis has time to make walks on the main streets to visit historical Monuments, and for shopping. In the evening, we will host you at one of the best traditional restaurants of Addis where you can see the folkloric dances of The Ethiopian people and taste our variety of meal. Also, visit The National Museum This famous museum, close to the University of Addis Ababa Graduate School, houses numerous antiquarian relics and archaeological artifacts showing the history of Ethiopia from prehistoric times to the modern day. Its most famous exhibit is the 3.5 million year old skeleton of Lucy. Mount Entoto Addis Ababa is built in the foothills of Mount Entoto, and the panorama from the peak (3,200m3, either by day or night, is a breathtaking spectacle. The Church of St Mary (1885) overlooks the entire city and the surrounding area. The Entoto Museum, with its historical exhibits is well worth a visit. Trinity Cathedral Trinity Cathedral was constructed by Emperor Haileselassie in 1947 and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The architecture of the cathedral is very unique to both Ethiopia and Africa. It is ornamented with carvings and mosaic and other artistic works such as paintings of saints and the apostles on the stained glass. Within the compound and gardens of the church are found the crypts of the Imperial family O/n in Addis Ababa.
DAY 02: Addis/ADD – Tiya–Adadi Mariam– Langano
Drive south to the Rift Valley Lake of Langano visiting the rock-hewn church of Adadi Mariam & Tiya Drive south to the Rift Valley Lake of Langano visiting the rock-hewn church of Adadi Mariam that is believed to be the southernmost church founded by King Lalibela, the pre-historic archeological site of Melka Kunture, and the stelea field of Tiya (UNESCO World Heritage Site). At Lake Langano enjoy swimming and bird watching around. Not far from Addis Ababa, in the Soddo Region, is a field that contains steal found nowhere else in the world. A cemetery was uncovered, with bodies buried in the Position of prayer. We are in the very mysterious archeological site of Tiya, inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1980. Also visit this rock-hewn church is a 600-year-old sanctuary In the building tradition of the northern part of Ethiopia, and marks the advent of Christianity in the southern part of Adadi Mariam. The rock hewn church of Adadi Mariam, contemporaneous with those of Lalibela. In fact local tradition ascribes it to King Lalibela who is said to have had it built on his visit to Mount Zuqwala in 1106.
DAY 03: Langano - Arbaminch
In the afternoon drive to Chencha (the Dorze village). Drive 300 km south to Arba Minch visiting the tribal people of Alaba who are noted for their beautifully painted houses, Wolita, known for their cultivation of Enset or False Banana, and Dorze – who are renowned for their huge huts and colorful cotton clothes, en route to Dorze village, and then a visit to the traditional village of Chencha, where you will sure be fascinated by the waving style of the Dorze people. O/n in a chosen hotel. DAY 04: Arbaminch
Whole day in Arbaminch, including Nech Sar NP’s and Chamo Lake. Arba Minch, the largest town in southern Ethiopia, is set amongst lush green hills near Lakes Abaya and Chamo. Arba Minch is named for the abundant local springs that produce a groundwater forest; in Amharic, ArbaMinch means "forty springs." The town proper is divided into two distinct settlements; buses and taxis connect Shecha (on higher ground) and downtown Sikela. Shecha is the uptown administrative centre…….
…… Just four kilometers away is Sikela and the commercial, industrial, and downtown residential areas. On the eastern side of Sikela lies the gate to Nechisar National Park, which covers the isthmus between Lake Abaya to the north and Lake Chamo to the south. The park has not much to offer except small antelope, a few monkeys and baboon and a variety of birds. The region is known for crocodile (also known as the crocodile market which is an area of abundant, large, wild crocodiles) and hippo, fish farming, and O/n in Arbaminch.
DAY 05: A

In the morning you will visit the region of the south Konso is inhabited by the Konso people. The corner stone of Konso culture is a highly specialized and successful agricultural economy that, through terracing buttressed with stone, enable them to extract a productive living from the none-too-fertile hills and valleys that surround them. The region has their own, weeding, burial, religious and other cultural ceremonies. Some of nationalities are known of their special cotton cloths weaving and dressing, in addition to that making bracelets, nickels, earrings and bead. The stone and wood curving techniques of the Konso nationalities are very impressive and attractive for tourists. O/n in Jinka.
DAY 06: Jinka – Mursi - Jinka
Drive 275 km south to Jinka visiting the villages of the Konso people who are renowned for their colorful hand-woven cotton clothes and beautiful rock terraces. And other tribes Jinka are the nearest town to Mago National Parks. En-route you will see the weekly market of Ari, Benna and Tsemai tribes in key Afer village. The Mago National park broad grasslands are teeming with herds of Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephants and Kudu. On your way to Mursi you will see game viewing at the park. The excursion will escort you to see widespread custom of Mursi women: the insertion of wooden and terra-cotta discs into the ear lobes, the split and stretching of their lower lips to make room for similar discs. Though these 'lip plates' may appear bizarre to outsiders, the Mursi regard them as signs of beauty. Generally speaking, the larger the lip plate the more desirable the wearer. o/n in Jinka
DAY 07: Jinka – Turmi
After break fast you will drive to Turmi. En-route you will see different ethnic tribes such as Banna and Hammer people. The best time to visit the hammer dancing style is after the sun goes down these tribes find unique ways in which to express their artistic impulses which contain a number of specific symbolic
messages.....
…… For example, on their arms to
represent each enemy that they have
killed in battle. Elaborate hairstyles
are another form of personal
adornment, Hamer women wear mud
and clarified butter and topped off
with a head-dress featuring
extravagant shapes. The Jewelers
they use tends to be simple but it
must be striking colorful necklaces,
chunky metal wrestlers and armlets,
shiny nails appended to skirts,
multiple earrings are most common
one. At the end off the day drives
back to Turmi. O/n in Turmi
DAY08: Turm
i - Omo river/Omorate
Drive to Turmi – the village of
the Hamer & excursion to Omo
Rate to visit the Dasenech
people who are the
southernmost people of the
country and are known for
their scarifications. An early
drive to Omorate to cross the
river and enjoy the home of
Lower Omo people and their
remarkable mix of small,
contrasting ethnic groups.
Their Lifestyles are as varied
as the tribes them selves.
Gelebe (Dsaneech ) one of the
tribe you will visit settling on
the bank of Omo River. After
seeing the small village’s
people return bake to Turmi.

DAY 09: Turm
i - Erbore - Yabello
After breakfast drive towards Yabelo along the way visit the
tribes of Erbore, when you reach Weyto you will take a break for
coffee and precede your journey. Lunch will take place at konso.
Drive to Yabello with a stop at the villages of the nomadic people
of Erbore. O/n in Yabello
DAY 10: Yabello - Yergalem
Head to the north visiting the nomadic people of Borena, and
the other people of Sidama, On the way to Yergalem you will have
an excursion tour to the salt mine lake of El Sod and the singing
wells where the local Borana people extract water for their cattle
making a human ladder. The Oromo, the largest single ethnic
group in Ethiopia consisting of about 22 million people or roughly
one third of the country's total population, are found mainly in
southern and central Ethiopia. In spite of their large numbers they
have never been dominant in Ethiopian society, mainly because of
their internal diversity and geographical spread. O/n in Yergalem
DAY 11: Awassa - Addis/ADD
Visiting the ‘Fish Market’ at the Shore of Lake Awassa, drive back
to Addis visiting the chains of the Rift Valley Lakes of Langano,
Abiyatta, Shalla, and Ziway. After that you will drive back to
Addis Ababa and along the way visit the lakes of Abiata, Shalla,
Langano and Ziway. If their is any available time you will do some
shopping in Addis Ababa. Finally the evening will culminate with a
farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant with traditional music
and dances which will stay in your memory when you fly back to
your home. +departure
