Clearwater Island Lodge

Apsley Strait is the body of water separating Melville and Bathurst Islands in the Northern Territory. On its shores is an operation managed by Michael Benton called Clearwater island Lodge(previously called Munupi Lodge). Although the lodge is only minutes from a local community, it still gives the impression of being truly remote.

Less than an hour flight from Darwin has you landing at the airstrip (Garden Point) where you will be met by one of the fishing guides. There are a number of flights on most days. A five minute drive has you at the lodge.
