HOW TO INCORPORATE THE NEW METHOD IN CONCRETE PLANS
• Communication by the area (gatherings and unexpected events organised by SRE in combination with tenants.);
• Images (always the Tower, people and meeting in the image);
• Clear and short text (not too formal); • Themes (pay off: Schiphol. Working businessclass,
different primary colours per area); • Community (on and offline, gather inhabitants); • Do (show, example, experimenting, events); • Signing (English, airport signing close to the terminals,
CBD signing in the business area).

NEW METHOD
HOW TO INCORPORATE THE NEW METHOD IN CONCRETE PLANS
• Create clear hierarchy in public space (main street, subs streets) and concentrate traffic on main street;
• Create dynamics in public space (place to be, front doors, sitting areas, art, public services, restaurants, sports, temporary events);
• Create shared facilities (meeting facilities, auditorium); • Create a square to combine the Terminal world and
the Business world; • Create a matrix structure and increase density (city
feeling); • Combine in and outdoor (transparant groundfloors); • Create a few architectonial ‘specials’; • Create flexibel buildings and use flexibel contracts.
