DAY 1INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT/ LIMA -/-/-Welcome to Peru!

After the arrival to Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima City, our tour guide will welcome you and in private tourist transportation you will go to your hotel.

After breakfast we will go to Jorge Chavez Airport to take a plane that will take us to wonderful city of Cusco, Capital of The Inca Empire known as “The Navel Of The World”. Nowadays, Cusco Is The Archeological Capital of America, and it could join armony, in a urban environment, columbian monuments and amazing archeological inca ruins.

When you arrive, our guide will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel in private transportation.

In the afternoon we will begin our tour through the enigmatic and mystical Inca city with a City Tour, we will visit the most attractive places of the city to continue our tour outside the city to visit Archeological Place: Qenqo (Ceremonial Centre of worship and sacrifices of the incas), Tambomachay (Inca Sanctuary to Water Worship), Pucapucará (Tambo, shelter for Inca travellers) and the awesome Fortress Of Sacsayhuaman (Inca Ceremonial Fortress).

DAY 2 LIMA B / L / -Breakfast at the designated hotel.

After breakfast, we will begin a tour to the capital of Peru, with a City Tour that will show us the different attractive places of Lima city in 3 stages: Pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. We will visit the Historic Center with old houses, Grau Square, San Martin Square, Mayor Square, Government Palace, Archiepiscopal Palace, Lima Cathedral, City Hall Palace, San Francisco Convent (with the religious art demonstration in America), Catacumbas and Huaca Pucllana.

We will continue our tour to Lima through the Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores. Also, we will visit the “Larco Museum”, located in a vice regal mansion in 18th century with awesome galleries that show our history of 3000 years ago, also it has a fine collection of gold and silver from the old Peru.

Lunch at "Huaca Pucllana" Restaurant , famous for offering a sophisticated and modern proposal of Peruvian Cuisine , creating new culinary experiences in a magical and unique setting.

DAY 4CUSCO/ URUBAMBA SACRED VALLEY

Breakfast at the designated hotel.

After breakfast, we will begin our tour to Urubamba Sacred Valley, going through Chinchero town, one of the most important Inca populations where you still can see vestiges of its great past.

In Inca lands, we will practice an old Inca ritual, the Sacred Ceremony of offering the PachaMama (Mother Earth) leaded by andean paqo in appreciation for all received from Mother Earth Or Mother Nature in the Archaeological Complex of Chinchero.

Then, we will visit the enigmatic archaeological site of Moray. Its impressive circular terraces which seem gigantic fingerprints, suggests a large agricultural laboratory, although many interpretations are on the side of a observatory or worship as a primary sense.

Lunch at “Parador de Moray Restaurant”, an old Republican Hacienda welcomes us to delight with exquisite banquet highlighting the most iconic products of the region.

After breakfast, we will go to Velasco Astete Airport to take a flight to Juliaca city.

After the arrival to Juliaca, we will go to Puno city, but before we will stop at Sillustani Tombs. A Necropolis of pre-inca origin from Kolla Culture (1200 bc), located in the Tableland of Umayo Lagoon, we will see all kind of “Chullpas” tombs according to the social class that the ancient citizens had at that time.

DAY 8PUNO B / L / DBreakfast at TITILAKA BOUTIQUE HOTEL.

We will enjoy a full day in Puno. When we arrive to Titicaca Lake, we will go by boat to Uros Island, a group of floating islands made by totora cane where the Uros lived they are a precolumbine native community came from one of the oldest cultures of the highlands. We will continue our tour to Taquile, a big island, it is famous for beautiful knitted fabrics, we will see the processing of hand-knitted clothing.

DAY 9PUNO/AMAZON RESERVE OF TAMBOPATA B / L / DBreakfast at TITILAKA BOUTIQUE HOTEL.

After breakfast, we go to Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport to take a plane to Puerto Maldonado.

A guide will be waiting for you to take a private tourist transportation. First, we will visit the Butterflies House near the Airport, make the check-in easily and comfortable and then we will go to the pier in 15 minutes.Feel the charm of the jungle by travelling 45 minutes along Madre de Dios river, to go to INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZÓNICA.

After a short presentation, enjoy a delicious lunch with ingredients from the river.

Take a nap, have a nice time with a refreshing tea and get ready to go on a tour in the afternoon.

After get together with your Explorer Guide, choose one of the several available tours in INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZÓNICA. On your first day, we suggest you get inside the jungle through a guided tour along the System of Paths in the natural area of INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZÓNICA, where you will find the wonderful amazon region. This tour offers you an excellent introduction of the jungle ecosystem, going through amazing trees like shihuahuaco and the beautiful ficus, offering you excellent choices to look at birds and exotic insects.

We suggest that the first night you go on the tour Rio de Noche, it is a guided tour on boat in the afternoon, sailing through Madre de Dios River. Be a witness of the transformation of a day and night world: birds and other animals are adapted at night. While you enjoy the nature around you, be aware of the appearance of owls, capybaras, lesser nighthawks and big alligators.

In the morning, you can go on a tour to Sandoval Lake in the National Reserve of Tambopata. You can sail on a wooden canoe along the lake, home of many endangered species as the big otter, the red howler monkeys, macaws of red belly, anacondas and turtles with askew necks.

Lunch at INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZÓNICA.

After lunch, you could visit the Inkaterra Canopy. When you go up the first tower, 29 metres above the forest, you will see the species that live on top of the trees. You will walk through the tropical forest for more than a quarter mile, in a group of bridges that connect eight platforms of sighting.

During this tour of 2 hours, look at colorful toucans, woodpeckers, monkeys, sloths, and other species. If you like, you can see the sunset in one of the towers. When you are in the hostel, enjoy the nature and happy hour in the eco center.

DAY 1INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT/ LIMA -/-/-Welcome to Peru!

DAY 3CUSCO / SALCANTAY LODGE B / L / DBreakfast at the designated hotel.

After breakfast, a representative will pick us up from the hotel to start the Inca Challenge. On the way, we will take a short break to visit Incas de Tarawasi Ruins, near Limatambo ( approximately 1.5 hours from Cusco). After, leave Limatambo, we will go to the beautiful town of Mollepata, where will stop to drink coffee before we go up a highway of mountains to Marcoccasa. Here we will begin a walk to Soraypampa upon an old route called “Royal Road”. This is a good opportunity to get used to the weather, while we enjoy a beautiful walk of six hours.

Finally, we will go to SALCANTAY LODGE that has its name in honor to an imposing pinnacle located in Salkantay Valley, it has the second place of the most sacred pinnacle in Inca mythology and the tallest in the area.

The tour guide will give us an informative talk next to the fireplace, then some appetizer and dinner.

After breakfast, we will begin a walk through Rio Blanco valley, surrounding Humantay in front of Salkantay. The highest part of the walk is El Paso de Salkantay at 4.638 meters. In “El paso” we will stop to enjoy the view of snowy pinnacles of Vilcabamba Mountains and the amazing Salkantay glacier that arises above us. Luckily, we could see the famous Andean condors, they are often seen in this area.

Finally, we will go down to WAYRA LODGE, our destination at night.

DAY 6GO DOWN TO CLOUDY FOREST B / L / DBreakfast at WAYRA LODGE.

After breakfast, we will continue our descent to the left side of Salkantay River through a green landscape. We can feel the hot air that raises from the jungle, with colorful butterflies and orchids.

We arrive to COLPA LODGE where they will welcome us with a traditional Pachamanca, a traditional Andean – Peruvian food, made of beef and vegetables put on hot stones and then cover them to cook. COLPA LODGE is located in an opened tableland in confluence with three rivers; this Lodge has an outdoor hot tub with a great panoramic view of the green mountains.

Free afternoon to relax and perfect to explore the near orchids path.

DAY 7VALLEY OF SANTA TERESA RIVER B / L / DBreakfast at COLPA LODGE.

Early in the morning, we will walk along the valley of Santa Teresa River through rural areas. We will walk through banana, avocado orchards and coffee plantation (famous for being one of the best organic coffee in the world).

Lunch served next to Santa Teresa River.

After lunch, we will walk for an hour before getting on a private transportation that will take us to “Llactapata Inca Trail”. Then, going through the renovated Inca Road, we will go to LUCMA LODGE; it is located in an avocado orchard.

Dinner and stay overnight at LUCMA LODGE.









DAY 8FIRST VIEWS OF MACHU PICCHU FROM LLACTAPATA B / L / DBreakfast at LUCMA LODGE.

Early in the morning , we will go up to Llactapata (2736 meters) for 2-3 hours where we will discover an amazing view of Machu Picchu Sanctuary from south east. We will have a short break to explore Llactapata ruins that have just been restored.

Lunch is served in an observation deck, with view to the great and mystic Machu Picchu Citadel. Then, we will begin our descent to Aobamba River through bamboo forests, orchards and coffee plantations.

Then, we will take a train to Aguas Calientes town in Machu Picchu. When we arrive, we check in at our lovely hotel to have a celebration dinner with our tour guide and to listen to a last informative talk.

DAY 9MACHU PICCHU SANCTUARY B / L / -Breakfast at the designated hotel.

After breakfast, we will go to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.

We arrive to Machu Picchu Sanctuary!!! A masterpiece of architecture and engineering, mysterious and enigmatic, now it has become one of the most popular tourist place of the planet, declared by UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity and since 2007 one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Our tour guide will organize a tour of two hours in the ruins and later, we will have the rest of the morning to explore the area.

After lunch, we will go to Aguas Calientes Train Station to take a train to Ollantaytambo to continue the Cusco city tour.


DAY 10CUSCO / CITY TOUR B / L / -Breakfast at the designated hotel.

We will begin our tour through the enigmatic and mystical inca city with a City Tour, we will visit the most attractive places of the city to continue our tour outside the city to visit Archeological Place: Qenqo ( Ceremonial Centre of worship and sacrifices of the Incas), Tambomachay ( Inca Sanctuary to Water worship), Pucapucará ( Tambo, shelter for Inca travelers ) and the awesome Fortress of Sacsayhuaman (Inca Ceremonial Fortress).

Nowadays, Cusco is the Capital of The Inca Empire, and it could join armony, in a urban environment, columbian monuments and amazing archeological inca ruins.

After breakfast , we will visit the Famous Market of Pisac where the farmers of the communities will offer their handicraft products: textils of alpaca, hats, silver jewelry, ceramic , musical instruments and paintings.

Next, we will go to Urumbamba Sacred Valley, we will a stop in Awana Kancha that means Weave Palace, a colorful place stopped in the past that gathers 14 native craftsmen communities who make wool fabrics , we will see the dyed center , weave center, inca channel and yarn exhibition. Also, we could see llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos in their natural habitat. You could buy a souvenir of traditional andean textiles.
