BREATHTAKINGLY

BEAUTIFUL TOURIST

DESTINATIONS IN

BELIZE

Belize has emerged as one of the hottest tourist destinations in recent years

and is said to attract millions of tourists from around the world. Nestled in the

pristine and protected parts of Central America, Belize has some

breathtakingly beautiful spots that are rolling in nature. From white sandy

beaches to crystal clear waters and awe-inspiring marine life, one of the

world’s biggest barrier reefs, Belize is one of the world’s most unspoiled

locations.

Belize has got to be your top favorite destination on your to-visit countries for

vacations. Here are some amazing tourist attractions that you must see on

your visit to Belize:

Ambergris Caye

Ambergris Caye is the largest of all islands in Belize. The island for the same

reason attracts the most number of tourists. San Pedro, a village on this island

or Caye as the locals call it, is the hub of activity. This village has a population

of thousands, plus visitors who keep pouring in throughout the year. The

village has plenty of restaurants, bars, hotels and inns for tourists. Also, it has

some exciting nightlife for the party-goers and some great outdoor activities

for the adventure seekers. What makes the island exciting is that it’s a no

vehicle zone, people use bicycles or rent golf carts to commute.

LamanaiLamanai is an absolutely no-miss tourist

attraction. It’s considered to be one of the most

visited archeologist sites. Lamanai is said to be

once a city of the Mayan civilization that was

present thousands of years ago. The Mayan

ruins today are a great attraction for tourists,

especially those who are interested in history,

archeology and ancient civilizations. A great bit

of attraction is that tourists have to travel

through a boat to reach this site.

The no shoes policy and the casual atmosphere

in Caye Caulker is what attracts tourists the most

along with affordable shopping, variety of

eateries and bars. This island has some white

sandy streets and is pretty free of hassles as the

routine mode of commute is by foot, bike or golf

carts. For all those seeking some adventure, this

place has some amazing diving tours at some

nature rich spots like Caye Caulker Marine

Reserve and the very popular Blue Hole.

Belize is home to the world’s second largest

barrier reef. The Belize Barrier Reef is unspoiled

by nature and has the most fascinating species of

marine life and coral reefs. The Belize Barrier

Reef Reserve System works to protect the barrier

reef from oceanic pollution and ensure it stays

pristine and protected. This is an unmatched

spot for snorkeling, scuba diving, kitesurfing and

other such watersports.

Great blue hole

The Great Blue Hole is one of the most popular dive destinations in Belize. This massive water hole is located nearby the Lighthouse Reef and forms a perfect circle of dark blue water, which makes it stand out from the rest of the pristine ocean waters. This Great Blue Hole has recently found to have some evidence of the demise of the Mayan Civilization, which is why it has gained more important amongst tourists.
