BARANGAY HISTORY SOCORRO means “help” in Spanish,

derived its name from its Patroness, OURLADY OF PERPETUAL HELP. Created into a barrio on November 6, 1961 by virtue of Quezon City Ordinance NO. 61- 4883 ; and as a Barangay Assembly pursuant to PD 85 ang PD 210 , Socorro, which was subsequently recognized barangays under PD 557 dated September 21, 1974 “declaring all barrios and citizen’s Assemblies in the Philippines as barangay’s “. Amplified by executive order no. Dated June 25, 1975 , of the late Mayor Norberto S. Amorano, who has that distinct record

as the City Chief Executive Officer with the longest record of service in the capacity .

Nararapat ding matuto tayong alagaan ang ating kalusugan tulad ng pagtatapon ng basura sa tamang lalagyan, paghiwalayin ang nabubulok at hindi nabubulok.pagkakaroon ng pagtutulungan para sa mga squaters. Nararapat ding itabi natin ang ating mga sasakyan sa tamang parke upang makaiwas tayo sa trapiko.Huwag maglalakad sa tabi ng kalsada upang hindi tayo masagasaan at iwasan din ang paglalabas ng mga alahas o mga gadgets sa mga pampublikong lugar upang maiwasan natin ang hold-up.
