BANG TAO BEACHFacilitiesAll the sunbeds provided by the hotels are exclusively for their guests, there are no sunbed vendors however there's no shortage of space to lay on a towel or mat.

In front of the Laguna hotels there are beach shacks set up by locals that sell everything from snacks and drinks to beachwear to tours. There are no public toilets however toilets can be found in the hotels and restaurants.

Activities

With no snorkeling to speak of and not enough beach-goers to muster a game of volleyball there's not really any activities to speak of.

The exception is horse riding which is a perfect beach activity. Offered by Bang Tao Riding Club, located near to the entrance to Laguna, most days you'll see people riding up and down the beach later on in the afternoons once it's a little cooler.

RestaurantsSome local restaurants have been set up on the beach to the north of The Angsana Resort and to the south of Outrigger Laguna Phuket. Notable is Lotus Restaurant, which has excellent Thai food and Seafood at reasonable prices, located to the north of The  Angsana Laguna Phuket within walking distance of all the Laguna Resorts.

NIGHT LIFETHE SUPPER CLUBSiam Supper Club is a well-known place to socialize, network and, of course, to enjoy some first-class food. Located in Tinlay Place at the entrance of Laguna Phuket Complex, this restaurant is ranked highly among the most recommended venues for fine dining in Phuket.

The gentleman’s club theme is enhanced on live jazz nights but with a difference; people party easily here and as a result it enjoys a much more relaxed atmosphere than at other Phuket restaurants in the same price strata. Lighting is an important factor, too: discreet and atmospheric, it enhances the exclusive feel of the restaurant.

BLISS BEACH CLUBBliss Beach Club, one of Phuket’s leading beach clubs, lies on gorgeous Bangtao Beach just south of Sunwing Resort & Spa. With modern lines, wide open spaces, refreshing breezes and a good menu and drinks list, Bliss lives up to its name and offers an almost perfect haven for the senses for all ages.

Outside, under the shade of palms and casuarina trees (spot lit at night), guests can chill out in ‘love loungers’ – relaxation sofas – and pull their chairs into a circle to enjoy an instant party.

Once in a while, Bliss throws a party and when it does, it does so in style. The latest bash featured Boy George in his resurrected DJ role and was a smashing success.
