Asian Integrationshared vision of the ASEAN Community to be completed by 2015 – a tri-partite conglomeration of three sub communities, the ASEAN Political Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the ASEAN Socio-cultural Community (ASCC).

Translocal Struggles

translocality is a variety of enduring, open, and non-linear processes, which produce close interrelations between different places and people. (Peth 2014)These interrelations and various forms of exchange are created through migration flows and networks that are constantly questioned and reworked.

Non-Linear histories

What is happening with the criticism nowadays? Where does it exist and in which form in constantly changing media landscape? How to interpret contemporary artwork that changed its material, approach and final output in the new production and paradigmatic framework? To go even beyond – what is happening with the critical thinking and how to introduce it as a necessary component in the shaping and participating in democratic societies? Those are just several of the questions we are dealing with through the project Criticism – Past,Present, Future.( Letinić 2015)

Autonomous Spaces

In mid 2000s anarchist collectives attempted to establish infoshops, Davao was the first anarcho scene able to establish an infoshop in 2005; their own initiatives complemented with support from the international comrades. Three years later (2008), a space in Buhangin, Davao followed. It provided avenue for autonomous activists and served as a center of exchange of information and interaction that eventually led to organising more activities from radical to wholesome one. (Umali 2014)
