THREE MAIN AREAS
• Diani Coast (accessed by Mombasa or Ukunda)—1-1.5 hrs drive from Mombasa Airport with daily scheduled services from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports, (Kenya Airways and Air Kenya). ). Direct flights from England, Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy in to Mombasa are also available. Five minutes from Ukunda Airstrip, for private charters and a daily service to & from the Maasai Mara (sometimes seasonal)
• Lamu areaDaily flights from Wilson Airport, in p.m.
• KiwayuDaily flights from Wilson Airport, in p.m., about 15 minutes beyond Lamu/Manda stop

town, and Euro-chic/bohemian crowd• Great food, hands-on management, fishing options, dhows• Lots of noise and activity in front of hotel, pool not big

in Shela village and rooms ‘enclosed’, some bedrooms hotter• Need whole group to confirm and need to ‘manage’ catering
a little bit, not as well serviced as an Alfajiri type villa
