8 Top Travel Tips You Must Know
Most people aren't born with the capability to travel with ease. It's a
skill set that you can only acquire through your experience on the
road.
You'll make lots of travel blunders in the beginning.
Missed buses, irresponsible behavior, cultural ignorance, and a
slew of other minor blunders will contribute to making you a travel-
savvy person. Then, one day, you'll be able to glide through airports
and blending into different cultures like fish to water.
I want to help you save time and avoid making the same mistakes I
do, so I compiled my 8 top travel tips to help you reach your best
travel ninja potential.
These are the top lessons I've learned over my traveling years.
These travel tips can help you save money, sleep better, venture off
the beaten path more, meet locals, and generally be a better
traveller.

Without further ado, here are the 8 top travel tips you must know:
1. Always pack a towel
It's both essential to an unplanned hitchhiking occasion and
common sense. You never know when you're going to need one.
While many hostels provide towels, you never know when you'll
need one, and carrying a small towel adds little weight to your bag.
2. Buy a small backpack
You'll avoid bringing too many things and pack light if you get a small
backpack (anything around 35/40 litres is fine). Humans have a
natural tendency to fill space, so if you pack light but have a lot of
spare rooms in your luggage, you'll find yourself thinking, "Well, I
guess I can take more," and subsequently regretting it.

3. Pack light It's okay to wear the same clothing several times in succession.
Take half of the cloth you believe you'll require. In reality, you won't
need as many as you think. Make a list of basics, cut it in half, and
only bring those. Plus, since you bought a small backpack, you won't
fit much in it anyway.
4. Take extra socks
You’ll lose a bunch to the laundry gremlins, wear and tear, and
hiking, so bring a couple of extras. Nothing compares to wearing a
clean pair of socks.

5. Take an extra bank card and credit card
Unforeseen disasters strike without notice. It's naturally a good idea
to carry a backup in the unfortunate event that you're robbed or lost
your credit card. You don't want to get stranded somewhere far
away and not able to access your funds. I once had a card cloned
and need to call the bank to cancel it. I was unable to utilize it for the
remainder of my journey. I was delighted that I had an extra, as
opposed to my friend, who didn't and was obliged to borrow money
from me throughout the rest of the trip.

6. Use a travel reward credit card with no-fee
The use of a travel rewards credit card has long been hailed as a
simple way to save money when traveling the world. Travellers may,
after all, apply for rewards credit cards and collect points and miles
on all their purchases, which they can later redeem for airfare, hotel
stay, car rental, and other items.
When you think of all that you'll be getting, the annual fees that travel
cards charge can be well worth it, but not everyone wants to pay the
price regardless of the value of the perks they get. Fortunately,
many travel credit cards come with various perks that come with no
annual fee.

7. Travel alone at least once You'll get to know more about yourself and how to be independent. It's a cliché, but it's true. Solo travel taught me to fend for myself, converse with strangers, and navigate unfamiliar circumstances with ease. It's made me feel more at ease with myself, helped me discover more about my capabilities, and given me the freedom to be completely selfish and do anything I want! If you've never done it before, it may take some getting accustomed to, but do it at least once. Surprise yourself by making yourself uncomfortable. When you push yourself, you'll gain vital life skills!
8. Use the map Looking like a tourist isn't as awful as getting yourself lost and
ending up in the wrong area. Don't hesitate to ask for directions or
use a map to show that you're a tourist. You’re one, after all! When
I travel, I always bring a map of the place with me. It had assisted
me in getting to my destination!
