Surah al-Mursalaat (The Winds Set Forth)

�� ح�يم الر� ح من� الر� الله� � م �س ب

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


ف&ا ع)ر ت� ال+ س+ و+ال م)ر

[77:1] I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit),


ع+ص ف&ا ف+ال ع+اص�ف+ات�

[77:2] By the raging hurricanes,


ا ر& +ش ن ات� ر+ �اش� و+الن

[77:3] Which scatter clouds to their destined places,


ق&ا ف+ر ف+ال ف+ار�ق+ات�

[77:4] Then separate them one from another,


ا ذ�ك ر& +ات� ف+ال م)ل ق�ي

[77:5] Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation,


ا )ذ ر& ن و + أ ا ع)ذ ر&

[77:6] To clear or to warn.


+و+اق�ع< ل )وع+د)ون+ ت �م+ا �ن إ

[77:7] Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass.


ط)م�س+ت Iج)وم) الن �ذ+ا ف+إ

[77:8] So when the stars are made to lose their light,


ف)ر�ج+ت م+اء الس� �ذ+ا و+إ

[77:9] And when the heaven is rent asunder,


ف+ت )س� ن +ال) ب ال ج� �ذ+ا و+إ

[77:10] And when the mountains are carried away as dust,


+ت )قPت أ ل) س) Iالر �ذ+ا و+إ

[77:11] And when the messengers are gathered at their appointed time


)جPل+ت أ R +و م ي Pي+ أل�

[77:12] To what day is the doom fixed?


ال ف+ص ل� � +و م �ي ل

[77:13] To the day of decision.


ال ف+ص ل� +و م) ي م+ا اك+ د ر++ أ و+م+ا

[77:14] And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is?


�ين+ +ذPب Pل م)ك ل Rذ� +و م+ئ ي و+ي ل<

[77:15] Woe on that day to the rejecters.


�ين+ و�ل+ األ )ه ل�ك� ن +م +ل أ

[77:16] Did We not destroy the former generations?


خ�ر�ين+ اآل �ع)ه)م) )ت ب ن )م� ث

[77:17] Then did We follow them up with later ones.


�ال م)ج ر�م�ين+ ب +ف ع+ل) ن �ك+ +ذ+ل ك

[77:18] Even thus shall We deal with the guilty.





Rم�ه�ين م�اء مPن Iم )قك ل +خ ن +م +ل أ

[77:20] Did We not create you from contemptible water?


Rم�ك�ين Rار ق+ر+ ف�ي +اه) ف+ج+ع+ل ن

[77:21] Then We placed it in a secure resting-place,


R )وم م�ع ل Rق+د+ر �ل+ى إ

[77:22] Till an appointed term,


ون+ ال ق+اد�ر) �ع م+ ف+ن +ا ن ف+ق+د+ر

[77:23] So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things).





&ا �ف+ات ك ر ض++ األ +ج ع+ل� ن +م +ل أ

[77:25] Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself,


&ا م و+ات+ و+أ +اء ي +ح أ

[77:26] The living and the dead,


Rام�خ+ات ش+ و+اس�ي+ ر+ ف�يه+ا +ا و+ج+ع+ل ن&ا ات ف)ر+ م�اء )م +اك ق+ي ن س

+ و+أ

[77:27] And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water?


�ين+ +ذPب Pل م)ك ل Rذ� يو م+ئ و+ي ل<



)ون+ +ذPب )ك ت �ه� ب )م )نت ك م+ا �ل+ى إ �ق)وا انط+ل

[77:29] Walk on to that which you called a lie.


Rع+ب ش) ث� +ال+ ث ذ�ي hظ�ل �ل+ى إ �ق)وا انط+ل

[77:30] Walk on to the covering having three branches,


�ه+ب� الل م�ن+ �ي )غ ن ي و+ال+ Rيل� ظ+ل ال+

[77:31] Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame.


+ال ق+ص ر� ك Rر ر+ �ش+ ب م�ي +ر ت �ه+ا �ن إ

[77:32] Surely it sends up sparks like palaces,


ص)ف ر< ج�م+ال+ت< �ه) ن+ +أ ك

[77:33] As if they were tawny camels.





+نط�ق)ون+ ي ال+ +و م) ي ه+ذ+ا

[77:35] This is the day on which they shall not speak,


ون+ +ذ�ر) +ع ت ف+ي +ه)م ل )ؤ ذ+ن) ي و+ال+

[77:36] And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses.





�ين+ و�ل+ و+األ )م +اك ج+م+ع ن ال ف+ص ل� +و م) ي ه+ذ+ا

[77:38] This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore.


ف+ك�يد)ون� +ي د< ك )م +ك ل +ان+ ك �ن ف+إ

[77:39] So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now).





Rون( و+ع)ي Rل ظ�ال+ ف�ي �ق�ين+ ال م)ت �ن� إ

[77:41] Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be amid shades and fountains,


+ه)ون+ ت +ش ي م�م�ا �ه+ و+ف+و+اك

[77:42] And fruits such as they desire.


)ون+ +ع م+ل ت )م )نت ك �م+ا ب &ا �يئ ه+ن )وا ب ر+ و+اش )وا )ل ك

[77:43] Eat and drink pleasantly because of what you did.


نين+ ال م)ح س� +ج ز�ي ن �ك+ +ذ+ل ك �ا �ن إ

[77:44] Surely thus do We reward the doers of good.





مIج ر�م)ون+ )م �ك �ن إ �يال& ق+ل �ع)وا +م+ت و+ت )وا )ل ك

[77:46] Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little; surely you are guilty.





+ع)ون+ ك +ر ي ال+ +ع)وا ك ار +ه)م) ل ق�يل+ �ذ+ا و+إ

[77:48] And where it is said to them: Bow down, they do not bow down.





)ون+ )ؤ م�ن ي +ع د+ه) ب Rح+د�يث Pي+ �أ ف+ب

[77:50] In what announcement, then, after it, will they believe?
