The Great Pyramid
Also known as Pyramid Khufu
Oldest of the seven wonders of Ancient
Took 20years to built around 2560 B.C.
Was the tallest manmade structure for
3800 years.
The largest granite stone in the pyramid was weight 25 to 80 tons.
The Hanging Garden
Built in the ancient city state of Babylon In Iraq.
The gardens were supposedly built by the Babylonian king around 600 BC.
He is reported to have constructed the gardens to please his homesick wife, Amities of media.
The gardens were destroyed by several earth- quakes after the 2nd century BC.

The statue of Zeus at Olympiawas made by the Greek
Sculptor “PHIDIAS” around 432 BC.
The Zeus was made of ivory and Gold plated bronze.
The copy in marble or bronze
Has survived.
The Temple of Artemis

In the seventhcentury the old
temple was destroyed by a
flood.
Its reconstruction began around 550 BC.
The Mausoleum was a tomb built between 353 and 350 BC at Halicarnassus (present Bodrum, Turkey)

After twelve years, in 280 BC, the statue was completed.
After that it was first proposed in 1970 but, due to lack of funding, work has not yet started.

Lighthouse of Alexandria
Lighthouse was completedin 3rd century B.C.
After the death of Alexander the great , Ptolemy Scoterannounced himself kingin 305 B.C and commissionedits construction shortly thereafter.
The building is square about 8.5 meters each side.
