5 Reasons Why You should Travel - http://www.tattooedtraveler.com/blog/5-reasons-why-you-should-travel Posted by Hank Klinger on November 19, 2013
I shot a Video on these reasons to travel if you're not a reader.
After years of travel it's been to many experiences to count. There's one thing I can say for sure. Travel will
change your life, but there are not enough people in who actually do it. I created this post to inspire you to step
out of your comfort zone and see the world.
1. You get to meet great people - To me this is the most important piece of travel. The people you meet
become like family. I can say now that I have family all over the world, and these relationships are lifelong. It's a
good feeling inside when you know that no matter what country you go to you have a family and friends.
2. You get to do amazing things - Things tend to just shoot up out of nowhere. Take for example a few
months ago I had the privilege of riding bikes across England, it was six days on mountain bike and 270 miles
late my butt was kicked. I loved every second of it, and these kinds of events always seem to happen. Another
time I ended up in the Amazon with the natives and did a spirit journey on Ayahuasca. You never know what
kind of events are going to sprout up.
3. You create unique stories - Sitting here smiling thinking about the things I’ve seen and done. This ties into
the last reason. Stories are amazing and one of the best forms of communication, plus people love listening to
stories. Nothing captivates attention like a good travel story.
4. You get to eat new foods - This is one of the biggest perks of travel, eating Gumbo in Louisiana, or Fish
and Chips in England. Maybe some Salmon while you’re up in Alaska, wherever you’re at there’s good food.
And eating home cooked meals in other countries can’t be beaten. And if you’re a chef like me, than you can
only imagine what it’s like to cook with fresh local ingredients when traveling abroad.
5. You become the best you that you can be - Nothing creates a better you then travel. It’s said that learning
new languages and immersing yourself in other cultures increases your consciousness. I can personally attest
to this, when you travel you really gain a greater understanding of every aspect of life. Seeing how other people
live always gives me a deep and profound feeling of Gratitude.
Maybe after reading this you see the benefits of traveling and why you should go out and see the world
and create new experiences in your life.
I highly encourage you to start researching places you want to go to. Start looking into ticket prices and things
to do in these places. Get out and see the world and your life will change.
Two of the biggest things that tend to stop most people from traveling are the problems of not having enough
money or time. I used to face these problems and then I started working online. Blogging and Social Media are
both great ways to earn money online, as long as you have the right system. If you’re a traveler looking to work
online, or just looking to set up a new blog then you can learn more by entering your email on the next screen.
