While many people think ofsummer as the ideal time to go on
vacations, there’s no reason toavoid booking a vacation in the
fall. In fact, traveling at adifferent time than the swathes of
tourists can allow you to have amore memorable vacation.
Furthermore, the changing leavescan make for stunning sceneryand the weather is perfect for
sightseeing. Here are a few citiesin America to visit during the fall:
SanFrancisco
San Francisco’s fall weather iswarm and sunny, making it the
perfect place to travel if you don’tlike the cold. In the fall, you’ll have
an easier time navigating downLombard Street and walking
across the incredible Golden GateBridge due to the decrease in
tourists.
While in San Francisco, you’llwant to check out the delicious
cuisine, the quaint cafes and thebooming nightlife. For a unique
San Franciscan experience, take aride in a cable car.
Visiting San Francisco in the fallmeans you’ll be able to visit theGhirardelli Chocolate Festival,
which is an experience you won’tsoon forget.
JacksonHole
In Jackson Hole, the fall weatherstays in the 60s. The scenic viewsof nature are breathtaking, and
you have the opportunity to hikein the Granite Hot Springs or in
Grand Teton National Park.
Jackson Hole is beautiful all yearround, but the fall is the idealseason to take in the beauty of
nature. There are also a fewfestivals in the area for visitors to
enjoy.
Savannah
Savannah, Georgia is a quaintgetaway with Southern charm,

with music and film festivals. Fallis also the ideal time to see the
eerie sights in this famouslyhaunted city.

Chicago
The Windy City is a cultural hubyear round with its museums andeateries, but one of the best times
to take in Chicago’s vibrantculture is the fall. With the start of
fall in Chicago comes the WorldMusic Festival in September, the
Riot Fest, and the Hyde Park JazzFestival.
Recently added to Chicago’slineup of festivals is the GreatChicago Fire Festival, whichfeatures acrobatics, flaming
sculptures and music. This festivalis a celebration of the city’s revival
after the fire of 1871.
New YorkCity
Head to the Big Apple for some fallfun that you won’t find in any
other part of the world. You canvisit the High Line, a park space
made out of old elevated railtracks.
If you’re there in October, you canenjoy New York’s seasonal foodtrucks such as The Taco Truckand Blue Bottle Coffee. Head to
Central Park or sit in any of NewYork’s lovely parks to enjoy the
fall leaves and the beauty ofnature amongst the concrete
jungle.
Each one of these cities has its ownunique charm that becomes even
further illuminated in the fall. Thefall can be a magical time to travel
if you pick the right destination.
