Xen Project Optimizations

• Set Domain 0 Memory from 1 to 4 GB‒ dom0_mem=1024M

• Set Domain 0 VCPUs to 4‒ dom0_max_vcpus=4 dom0_vcpus_pin

• Use LVM for local storage‒ VOLUME_GROUP=volume_group_name

• PV versus HVM guests‒ nova image-meta set vm_mode=HVM

‒ Nova image-meta delete vm_mode
