Wireframes:First And The Most Important Step

In Web Designing Process

Wire framing is basically a foundation on which the web designers start

building their design. Wireframe is produced after discussing the basic

features and requirements of the clients for designing the site. Wireframe

also called as blueprint by some is a black and white structure explaining

a website.

Let's have a look at a few of its benefits:

Helps understand different features:

Sometimes, explaining a feature, or a

specific functionality to a client is difficult.

This is where wireframe helps, instead of

having to explain it in words; you can put it

down on a paper explaining a feature or the

overall design of the whole website. It's

easier to understand n also helps while

designing.

Helps to figure out what works and what doesn't:

Wire framing can be used to get the idea

about what will work and what won't for a

particular website. Every feature of the

website should be directed towards user

experience and should provide value.

Wireframes will help figure that out, hence

the elements that won't provide value can

be excluded from the designing strategy.

Ensures effective navigation:

We all know the importance of website navigation. A website that is not

able to provide a proper navigation to its users will only be ignored.

Wireframe helps to create and test various navigational elements before

it's built and this will help perfect the website’s navigation in terms of

user experience.

Time-saving:

Since wire framing helps everyone to be on

the same page the time that takes to

change the disagreement on any of its

elements is reduced. Wireframes are

basically one extra step towards getting a

perfect design and avoiding any changes.

It helps make content development easier:

The content can be properly planned I am

terming of placement or its fonts. A

wireframe can help get an idea about how

the copy will look when placed in a

particular area, it what and how big the

fonts should be. Getting this done within

the initial stage is a lot better than

changing it after the designing is done.

Everyone can be on the same page:

Wireframes help the developer as well as the client is on the same

page. They know exactly what the end design will look like, hence

any changes to me made can be appended in the initial stage, which

saves a lot of time and leaves no space for any disagreements.

Wireframes are sometimes important for a perfect website design

strategy; it helps to get a whole picture of a perfect website.
