Microsoft’s Cortana Will Find Its Way To

Approach iOS and Android Platform

Microsoft’s “Personal assistant” Cortana is receiving an update.

Microsoft is working on an advanced version of its competitor to

Apple’s Siri; by utilizing research from the company’s artificial

intelligence project called “Einstein”.

For a year Microsoft has been running its “Personal assistant” Cortana

on its Windows Phone, and will place the fresh version on the desktop

with the appearance of Windows 10. Later, Cortana will be accessible

as a standalone app, usable on Cell phones and Tablets powered by

Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.

Cortana is Windows Phone’s answer to Siri on iOS and Google Now

for Android. In the words of Microsoft:

“Cortana is powered by Bing. She comes to recognize

you by learning your comforts and interests over the

long time. She pays special mind to you, gives proactive,

valuable proposals.”

iOS has Siri, Android has Android Now and Cortana for Windows

Phone: All three smartphone platforms have their individual digital

assistant. Each of them has their personal quirks and exceptional

proficiencies. Cortana is distinguished because of its broader

integration into a phone’s contacts and compelling some time to

study your likes and preferences as well as its Bing Integration.

Cortana could advise a mobile user when to leave for the airport. It

reads an email and understood that the user was planning for a flight.

It would automatically check out the status of flight; using GPS figure

out where the Cell phone is located and check out traffic conditions.

Microsoft is already attempting to convey Cortana to Windows 10. It

will probably be a cloud-based service, with customer for input and

content delivery on the PC; yet a great part of the hard work done in

the background online.

Even if iPhone has a Mac version of Windows, It’s not actually clear

how Cortana for it will help sell Microsoft software. The key for the

success and victory of Cortana will know by where a client is and what

they are attempting to do.

Cortana is the best example for the Windows Phone App Development

arena.
