Windows 8.1 phone: Change shortcuts in notification center

This presentation will show you how to change the windows 8.1 phone notification

center by altering the tiles shortcuts. But Make sure that your phone is up-to-date.

Check your phone updates in settings->phone update

First swipe left side of the screen to access app list and then choose settings.

ALTERNATIVE:You could also pull down the notification area from top of the screen and select All settings.

Now you have to choose notification + action from

Settings option.

Now from the top of the screen choose one of quick action buttons from the row which you

want to change.

The position of the buttons in the row is the actual position in the notification center. The

sequence is like WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, and Orientation Lock by default.

Now tap on a button and a list of shortcuts will be displayed which include airplane mode, brightness,

Bluetooth, camera, Internet sharing, location, Internet sharing, project my screen, rotation lock,

quite hours, VPN, and Wi-Fi.

Tap one from this list and the chosen shortcut will be assigned into that slot.

If you choose a duplicate shortcut by mistake it will automatically replaced with the nearest shortcut.

When you have done editing the notification center you could see the changes by pulling down the notification center from the top.

Make a note that taping on these buttons will redirect you to the corresponding place in

settings.

You can’t change or toggle any feature by tapping on the tiles.
