Local Chart of AccountsAllows for more

streamlined BPM reporting by

differentiating the local chart of accounts from

the other local specifications.

You don’t need to manually specify your groupings each time you add a new account to the table, since in reporting structures this is derived automatically. It provides much better readability, since it is much easier to see what groups you have and how things are grouped under those groups. Reporting structures also contain some help actions that increase user friendliness. For example, actions for adding specific accounts or all missing accounts, action for moving many lines to a new places in the table.

Reporting structures is also used for internal reporting in Maconomy. As it goes through the General Ledger to Financial Reporting to Financial Reports. On top of that if changes are made to grouping lines this is propagated automatically to all the lines that are grouped under the changed groupings. In addition, the new structures allow for the local chart of accounts, natural signs, and related which is more flexible for all our customers.

Allows for you to create the correct sequential, gapless unique number

series that you need to report financial records, specific for any country you are

located in

Maconomy 2.3 also allows for the sequence number to start new each fiscal year. This new functionality will also cover new database relations where opening balances are persisted and associated with sequence numbers.

The card part of the window has fields allowing you to specify company, fiscal year and fiscal year period. When the action subsequently is run, Maconomy will assign sequence numbers to finance entries barring all the information is correct and no repeats in sequence number. Customer friendly and usability!

Opening balances can be run numerous times as needed with the sequence number updated. However, only local accounts specified in the table part of the Sequence Number Criteria window will be considered.

Opening Balances Creates opening balance entries for

multiple local accounts of your company with the date being the first day of the

fiscal year.

Opening Balances allows for sequential, gapless unique number series to be assigned to the opening balances with a complete history of the assignment for audit trail, and allows you to comply with any country’s policy on financial reports.

General Journal Document Archive

Allows you to attach documents to the General Journal and make up to 5 remarks on each

journal line. Increasing efficiency and transparency within your company.

Allows for each employee to create their own timesheet, by selecting each week or day on the calendar. Gives employees the option of how they want to report the time, and lets them create timesheets on days that are not normal working hours (weekends).

that they work, and also make timesheets for hours they might

have not recorded in order to avoid closing issues. A customer-friendly

application that helps every employee in your company.

Pre-Billing is printed using an invoice layout as other Maconomy job invoices. The pre-invoice must not contribute to the totals on any financial reports; it should, however, be listed on customer statement reports in its own section. It allows you to keep track of who has paid, and in a user-friendly way keep track of the work being done on the job, and a way to ensure quality control.

issued in advance of any work done on a job, and is not posted in the G/L

until paid

Maconomy 2.3 has added Self billing which is a process where you prepare the vendor invoice, send it to the vendor and then then you pay the invoice. The invoice is created based on the agreement that have

been contracted between the vendor, you, and is reconciled with the time and expense registrations.

Multi-Role Users

Allows employees with multiple roles in your company to just have to create one account,

and then just add their roles on to that account. Each role determines the access to

data and functionality. The user can easily switch between roles and needs to have only

one Maconomy password.
