B. ANOINTING OIL God gave the anointing oil to BLESS His people, with divine health, fullness and prosperity.

i. Using the anointing oil is biblical and ordained by God. James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

“Jesus was crushed under the burden and weight of our sins, and under the judgment of a holy God. He was crushed to become the anointing oil that heals us today.”

ii. Using the anointing oil will affect your eyes and ears Psalm 92:10,11 But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me.

iii. Using the anointing oil will DESTROY the yoke and lift burdens Isaiah 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

God’s anointing oil will destroy every Satanic bondage in your life beyond repair.

Deuteronomy 28:38-41“You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for the locust shall consume it. You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. You shall have olive trees throughout all your territory, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off. You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity.

• The oil from the first press of olive berries produces “extra virgin olive oil” which is used to light the Jewish Temple.

• The oil from the second press is used for making medicine.

• The oil from the third press is used for making soap.

DID YOU KNOW…

• Gethsemane means oil press.Jesus was first pressed in the Garden in a time of darkness, so that we will always be in the light and walk in the light.Luke 22:53 When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

• The second press took place when Jesus was taken from the Garden and scourged, Jesus is our medicine. Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

PRAYER OF BLESSING

1 Chronicles 4:9-10Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and

his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
