Water in lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans evaporates when heated by the sun. It becomes water vapor. The water vapor rises to the sky and forms clouds. The rain falls from the clouds. Rainwater collects in lakes, rivers, streams, and the ocean. Then the cycle begins again. Now draw a simple picture that shows the cycle you read about in the paragraph. Draw the ocean and the clouds. Draw arrows to show how the water vapor rises to the clouds and the rainwater falls back into the ocean. Label all of the parts of your picture.
