SmartMeter

SmartMeter

SmartMeter uses a fluidic oscillator to register flow, has no moving parts, does not wear out and cannot stall, jam or seize.

Flow measured accurately and consistently using powerful magnetic sensing technique.

The fluidic oscillator is factory calibrated and requires no adjustment or maintenance.

Highly accurate throughout its long life. Does not register air.

Support multi mode network backbone including wireless, BPL and Fiber Optic

characteristic

No moving parts - sustainable accuracy

Water enters the fluidic oscillator

through a nozzle that forms an

accelerated jet. When the jet

enters the flow chamber, it will

initially be drawn to one of the

two diffuser walls. The jet will

travel along the wall and then exit

the flow chamber.

What is Broadband over Power Line

(C) GSCOM 2010

6

BPL* (broadband over power line) uses low voltage/LV

(80 - 240 V) or medium voltage (MV – up to 33kV) as a

media for high speed data transfer, with the bandwidth

up to 200 Mbps.

*) Also known as PLC (Powerline Communication)
