Getting Ready : 1
• Step 1 : Raise a service request to Oracle
Support, to enable access to CRM Desktop for
your user ID
• Step 2 : Once done, Set the following role
privileges
– “Enable CRM Desktop Access”
– “Manage CRM Desktop Access”

• Step 4 : Create Installer Package
– Admin > Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop >
Administer Customization Packages > Fill the form &
Save
• Step 5 : Install CRM Desktop
• Step 6 : Configure Login ID / Password

• System Tray > CRM Desktop Icon > Right Click >
Show Control Panel

• Configure each object you want to access from

• You can define one or more filters per object, if
you want to download / use only limited set of
records from CRM On Demand

• Once configured, Right click on CRM Desktop
Icon in System tray and select “Synchronize
Now”
• You can repeat this whenever you want to sync
records between online and offline

• Click on the folder list to see all CRM Objects
configured
• Click on an object to see records and to edit /
insert new data

• Notice the “Oracle” Icon in the top left corner,
you can use it for viewing a particular record in
CRM On Demand (Live)

• Create a new Lead / Opportunity etc., by using
the “New” button in respective folders

• At any given point of time, you may change the
options of your CRM Desktop via the
corresponding System Tray menu option

buttons available to link the same to CRM On
Demand easily
