CA Workload Automation Advanced Integration for SAPHow Does it Work? (SAP Solution Manager Sample)

Job Request – Scheduling tab

• Select the RFC Connection that is associated with the adapter using the

search button. Default name is CA AutoSys instance name concatenated

with machine name.

• The Queue maps to an CA AutoSys machine definition. Use the search

button to retrieve the list of the defined machine names.

• The Start Conditions can be used to specify when the job runs using SAP

standards. CA AutoSys conventions can be used for more advanced

scheduling.

• Enter the CA AutoSys job name and any other applicable job attributes

• Click on the CMD tab to define the command. (I typically use as_test since

that’s platform independent)

• Fill in any other job attributes for the job

• Add any other applicable information via the other tabs (e.g. contacts, etc.)

• Click the Submit button to complete the request. Confirmation of the request

will be displayed at the top. If you switch to the Change Management tab you

would see the request has been created. (Need to refresh query)
