•  The Interna*onal Informix Users Group (IIUG) will host the fourth annual Informix User Conference May 15 -‐ 18, 2011 at the Overland Park MarrioI hotel in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City).

•  Join other Informix users, developers, execu*ves and enthusiasts for three full days of technical presenta*ons and conference events, preceded by one day of in-‐depth tutorials. Topics will include Informix database administra*on, applica*on development, tools and advanced support.

•  The event will officially start on Sunday evening May 15 with a welcome recep*on in the exhibit hall and conclude on Wednesday May 18 at approximately 5PM.


•  If you previously aIended the IIUG conference you know how technically and professionally beneficial it is to be exposed to the wealth of knowledge and exper*se. Anyone and everyone working with and using Informix soTware should aIend this conference.

•  Hear the latest news from IBM Informa*on Management Execu*ves regarding Informix in the marketplace and strategic direc*on for the Informix porXolio of products. Informix developers and soTware engineers will also be present to discuss technical insights and offer advice.

Speakers •  The IIUG Conference speakers will provide you with immediate knowledge and skills you

can take back to your office to maximize the value of your investment in Informix and improve the way you manage and develop applica*ons.

•  This year, you'll have an opportunity to learn from many speakers who are experts within the Informix community but not necessarily regulars on the speaking circuit. We will post speaker summaries here as speakers are finalized for the conference.

•  We will feature over 80 speakers from dis*nguished IBM speakers from around the world and users just like you and me!

Tutorials •  Pre-‐conference tutorials provide in-‐depth, immediately useful training

in the latest techniques, effec*ve tools, and best strategies. They offer a deep dive into the specifics of what to do and how to do it, giving you a new toolset and depth of understanding to take back to your organiza*on.

•  Tutorials are available on the Sunday before the Conference. Tutorial *tles will be posted on the IIUG Conference web site they are finalized.


Technical Sessions

•  The schedule will consist of three full days of 60-‐minute sessions in five concurrent tracks, providing you with ample opportunity to gain insight into a variety of must-‐know topics.

•  You'll pick up pointers from your favorite speakers, as well as from some who are new to the IIUG Conference. If you're a first *me aIendee, you'll find interes*ng sessions no maIer which way you turn. If you're a Conference veteran, you'll s*ll come away with loads of good informa*on, just as in years past.

•  The list of sessions will be posted on the web site when they are finalized


•  Conference Pricing •  Earlybird (through January 31, 2011) $625.00 •  Regular (February 1 through March 31 2011) $750.00 •  Late Registra*on (April 1 -‐ May 2011) $875.00

•  IIUG Member Discount •  IIUG members who register online in advance get $100.00 off the above. The

discount applies only thru May 12.

•  Pre-‐conference Tutorials •  Op*onal pre-‐conference tutorials are available for Sunday May 15, 2011 •  Half-‐day tutorial $150.00 •  Two half-‐day or one full-‐day tutorial $250.00

•  Registra*on includes a full conference pass from May 16 -‐ 18 (Monday -‐ Wednesday) including con*nental breakfast and lunch each day, the Sunday evening recep*on and admiIance to the Conference party on Monday evening May 16 and Tuesday May 17.
