Ashes Tree:
*Ash wood is white and tough and can be used for oars, axe-handles, hockey-sticks, skis and
many other 'implements'.
*A weeping form with long drooping branches is much grown in gardens.
*Before Christianity, ash was a sacred tree in
Scandinavia - a symbol of the life-force.
• Boxelder Tree:• They have tree bugs • The leaves are opposite and compound.
They are approximately 6" (15cm) long, usually containing 3-7 leaflets.(View Measured Leaf)The leaflets are elliptical, pointed at the tips, coarsely saw-toothed, about 2-4" (5-10cm) long and 1-1.5" (2.5-4cm) wide, light green and no hair on top of leaf and generally paler on the bottom of the leaf.
