DESCRIPTION
The devices market is beginning to sort itself out. PC sales are recovering from their steep decline, and vendors are adapting to a flat market. Windows 8.1 and new processors are enabling the creation of a wide range of PC and Windows form factors at much more attractive prices. Android and iOS tablets are establishing an identity separate from PCs, Windows 8 tablets and from smartphones. The maturation of the high end of the smartphone market is driving strategy refinements from the major players. TBR Devices Principal Analyst Ezra Gottheil and Analyst Jack Narcotta will share what we learned in 3Q13 and will outline our expectations for the slightly less volatile devices market in 2014.
