• "Firms will be looking for any competitive advantage they can find, and unstructured data offers an untapped reservoir of new ideas waiting to be discovered.“

Firms will spend US$75 million for unstructured content used in algorithmic

trading in 2009, and Aite Group anticipates that this figure will grow to

US$141 million in 2011.

Breaking News

In dry times, Twitter going back to the funding well? Twitter is closing in on raising another round of funding, according to TechCrunch. The site reports that the micro-messaging service has signed a term sheet with at least one venture fund and that the round will put its valuation at $250 million.
