TURTLES
Turtles are reptils. Turtles are omnivorous. There are eight different species of turtles.
WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?
They’ve got a shell. They’ve got a four legs. They’ve got small teeth and short tail. Their skin is green. The underside of the shell is yellow. They are thirty cm long.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
They live in lakes, river and warm seas. Many people have turtles at home has pets.
WHERE DO THEY LIVE?
Turtles eat fish and shrimp. They also eat seaplantes.
WHAT DO THEY EAT?
They turtles can swim very fast. Turtles walk slowly. The turtles can lay eggs and preserve them
under ground so the animals do not eat them.
They can pull thrir heads and legs inside their hard shells.
Some sea turtles can swim huge distances, convening 500 kilometres in just 10 days.
