Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK Installation

The Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK is supported on the Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms. Please

refer to the sections below for installation instructions for your operating system.

System Requirements:

- Processor: Dual Core 1.5GHz / Single Core 3GHz or higher

- RAM : 2GB or higher

- Windows, Mac, or Linux OS:

o Windows 7 or above. 32-bit and 64-bit supported.

o Mac OS X 10.7 Lion (64-bit), or Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion (64-bit)

o Linux : This SDK has been tested on Ubuntu 12.x.

Windows Installation Download and Run the Install Manager from the Downloads page.

Click the “Next” button.

Accept the license agreement and click “Next”

Choose a location and then click “Next”. The Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK software will install itself:

After the installation completes, click the “Close” button. It is also recommended that you restart your

computer.

After the installation completes, you can find the Tizen based Samsung TV SDK in your Star menu:

Mac OS X Installation Download and Run the Install Manager (inst-manager.bin or inst-manager.dmg) from the downloads

page.

Select to “Install the new Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK version” and click Next:

You will be prompted to select the SDK image. Choose Yes

Select the package image file from your computer and click “Open”

Accept the license agreement and click the “Next” button.

Choose the install location and click the Next button.

The SDK will then install.

After the installation completes, click the “Close” button. It is also recommended that you restart your

computer.

After the installation completes, you can find the Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK in your /Users/<Your

Account >/tizen-tv-sdk/ide/IDE.app

Linux OS Installation Download and Run the Install Manager(inst-manager.bin) from the Downloads page.

Select “Install the new Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK version” and click the “Next” button.

Accept the license agreement and click “Next”

Choose a location and then click “Next”. The Tizen-based Samsung TV SDK software will install itself:
