In July 2010: 1,555,360 total number of users in Romania

Pages and Groups:• Creation requires having an individual/personal account first

• You can share admin access with other users’ personal accounts

• Includes photos, comments, discussion, etc.

• Updates appear in news feed

• Can associate events

Pages:• Administrators receive stat reports called “insights”

• Can add applications to the Page

• Can include “favorites”

Why use a page? Could be right if you:

• Have a membership on Facebook

• Have engaging content or topics to share

• Want to customize the branding and functionality

Groups:• Admins and managers of the Group are visible

• Can message all members directly

Why use a Group? It might be right if you:

• Have a more engaged group/membership

What is Facebook Connect?

• Can use it for alternative login on other websites

• Can include personal information and content on other websites

• Transfer “friend” connections to other platforms

• Privacy and other actions apply on any other site you have connected

• Facebook Connect for Drupal, CiviCRM, Wordpress and many others
