• An application development contest using IBM Cloud Platform - Bluemix™
• Entries are open to teams of 2 to 3 students
• Applications to be developed according to pre-determined criteria using Bluemix™
• Support will be provided

Challenge – Scoring Criteria
Criteria Score
Application uniqueness and relevance to the Smarter Cities theme of the challenge and using cloud computing framework and services, ”Wow” factor and originality.

Requires usage of at least 5 BluemixServices/Runtime

Completeness of solution: a functional, demo-ready application or service.

Challenge – Scoring Criteria
Oral Presentation & Demo – thirty five percent (35% total).
Criteria Score
• Clearly describe application’s function. • Demonstrate the various attributes of the application such as what Bluemix services used.• Describe external APIs/data sources used.• Discuss challenges faced and how they were solved.• Good eye contact and clarity of voice.
Note: At the judges’ discretion 5 bonus points may be awarded for an exceptional oral presentation.
