The Electrofunk Mixtape: Illuminus Edition is the result of a collaboration between the STEAM Lab at the Boston Arts Academy (BAA), Boston-based sculptor Brian Browne, and the “Phil Spector of noise,” Hank Shocklee. Electronics, music, and video projection will be layered on 3D objects that will hang or be worn by performers. Visitors will witness -- and participate in -- a responsive and highly visible 3D art installation that will respond to music and movement and light.
